The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has announced the discontinuation of permits for hikers seeking to enter Canada via the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) without presenting at an official port of entry.
Eagle Returns to Big Bear Nest with Live Web Camera
A bald eagle mating pair, Jackie and Shadow, have returned to a nest on the shores of Big Bear Lake to try again to make some baby eagles. A webcam installed near the nest lets you check in via a live feed anytime.
Newsom’s Budget Proposal Raises Concerns Over State Parks Funding
